The reward

After nearly a week of filming (see last few days) I was physically exhausted. My reward was this smart Gore Tex jacket. In 2011, I still wear it, and it is in perfect condition - zips, buttons ...everything.

I didn't get paid a cent for my efforts, The "friend" who got me to do the work, did a debunk! Not funny but it was quite something to be so close to the goings-on at the event. Met loads of wonderful people and probably the most memorable a father and his daughter, true Hawaiians who had flown their horses halfway around the world to take part.
