What in the World?

....is this? Some of you may recognize it....but isn't it fun? Like an outer space creature. And yes, it's in my garden!

I had a lovely day - spent the afternoon at a retirement community that has a beautiful healing garden. I'm working to develop a volunteer program for them - they want the independent living residents to come work in the garden, which was primarily built for those people in the memory care facility. My background as a horticultural therapist comes in very handy. It was cold today, and drizzling a bit, but we planted pansies and primroses to liven up the garden.

And the big news is that somehow I managed to stumble upon an appointment for my first vaccination shot. As a caregiver for my parents, apparently I fall under the current category of people eligible for vaccinations. A random check early this morning of a local drugstore chain's website...there were a ton of appointments available. They must have just opened them up...so yay!
