Two wet mourning doves at the bird bath

It was a gloomy day, with a fair bit of rain, especially in the afternoon. I spent much of the morning, sorting, editing and deleting some old photographs from about 8-10 years ago - so many memories! We had a short errand out to the BMV (Bureau of Motor Vehicles) to get a new license plate for our new car - yes it is just one, as we discovered when we were buying the car, that Ohio has joined a number of other states in only requiring a rear license plate. We both had to go since the title is in both our names. As usual it was very busy there, but they had it well organized with a lady at a desk by the door, who gave you a number and took a cell phone number, and told you to go and wait in the car. Then you get a ping when your number is about to be called. When we got back I spent a few minutes watching the birds at the feeders and the bird bath, to get a blip for Mono Monday: Birds in mono, hosted by Beckett. Then we went to LA Fitness for a swim - 70 lengths today!
