Smiley Faces

Volunteering today and pleased to see the daffs have joined the party. Last week they were stalks and buds and I couldn't wait to get in today and see the crowds all around the mixed beds and lining the border paths
A veritable sea of golden yellow, perfectly back-lit with spring sunlight. Just a glorious sight and fair brings a smile to my ugly mush. I still love Autumn as the most photogenic season, but Spring comes a very close second, in terms of pleasure, hope and optimism.
