Back to the wood!

There were tell-tale signs that a mouse was active in the kitchen as you can see in the extra so a live trap was set last night and bingo!
I transferred him into a large container for the evening providing him with food, water and paper towel to sleep in.
This morning, I took him outside the village to be released in a wood. When I took off the container lid, I couldn’t see him at first but when I moved the paper, there he was curled up in a bed he had made. I felt kind of bad about disturbing him but he posed for a photo in the corner before leaping out and into the distance. I left him a couple of Jaffa cakes to be going on with.
