Meeting

Usually at this time of year i blip a large pedestal flower arrangement on the stage at the Dorking Halls. The occasion was the Annual Council Meeting of the WI in Surrey, always an inspiring meeting not to be missed. These meetings were cancelled last year because of Covid, today they organised a Zoom meeting. There was official business and notices, talks from our Surrey Chairman and the National chairman. Then we had an excellent illustrated talk about lumberjills. I was more than two hours on my iPad attending this meeting, along with more than 300 other Surrey members.
These flowers are the alstromeria son J sent me for Mothering Sunday. They have already opened up into a beautiful bouquet and I am sure will give us many more days of pleasure.
