Resident the First

I am delighted to report that the bee house has its first resident!  I was wandering past on my way out to the back of the garden when I spotted this.  I had time to go back to get the camera and line up a few shots.  When I came back past it about 30 minutes later I could just see the bee all snuggled up inside.  I was so thrilled!  We have two bee hotels now and I hope this bee is the first of a few residents.

We are supposed to be having some showers today but so far it has been quite sunny in spite of a few clouds wandering around.

I played with the chainsaw again this morning and managed to move a few bits of tree which were at a not very safe angle as far as I was concerned!
