Enough is enough!

This was taken today during the 'March4Justice' march in Sydney. I didn't take it. A very dear friend who lives in Sydney attended the march along with thousands of others, both there and all over Australia. She took the photo. We were certainly there in mind and spirit and, if we had had our vaccinations we would have travelled the 170kms to protest outside Parliament House in Canberra. We asked her to shout for us too. "Enough is enough."

Over the past few weeks we have had a couple of high profile cases involving Parliament House and its inhabitants which have highlighted the level of  sexual assault inflicted on women. I have never ever been witness to such deep anger welling up in so many women of all backgrounds, ages and political persuasions. At their political peril our politicians will sweep this under the carpet. They're trying hard but methinks they will fail. I hope so.
