Big Fishie Thing

We were sitting in the pub and Emma came down from the toilets with a report of a freakishly large fishie thing. We then (individually I must add) found good reason to pay a visit to the toilet, and a spirited discussion ensued. Was it a Mekong River Catfish? A Pike. An eel? An evolutionary throwback from the River Guadalqivir? None of us had watched River Monsters. We were flying blind.
