Happy Mother’s Day

This is my mum. She is my everything. She is always there when I need her, which is pretty much constantly. She knows when I am down and when I need a hug. Today she arrived, asked for a casserole dish and disappeared! She returned with Mr Whippy ice creams for everyone, in the casserole dish! The ice cream was delicious and made up for the fact that I couldn’t got out for brunch as planned this morning. With a cough, sore glands and headache, I didn’t think I’d really be the best company! Had some lovely cards from my boys. In other news, Charlie appears to have a rash on his lower back. If I had to speculate what it is, I’d say shingles! According to the internet, people who have had covid, as Charlie has, are much more likely to get shingles. Looks like we will be off again to the doctor tomorrow.
