Looking For The Edges

I’ve not worked on a puzzle for a couple of weeks. This is the first of two that I got for my birthday and I eagerly started it this afternoon. No doubt it will provide more blips in coming days!

Today was the very last day of the 2020/21 Cross-Country ski season. The women’s race started at 715am U.K. time so I was up early and still in my PJs while I watched. The women had a 30km race and later in the morning the men raced over 50k. Both races were very exciting and we weren’t really sure until the very end who was going to be on the podium.

It’s been a very different ski season due to Covid - some races were cancelled, some skiers chose not to take part in some races, some were sent home because of positive cases in their team, and there were no spectators at any of the races (officially, anyway). But I’m very grateful that there WAS a season! How WILL I fill my weekends between now and November? I hope next year that things will be a bit more normal in the world of skiing!
