The Bayfield Walk
This morning we did the walk around the Bayfield Estate. It is a lovely walk, and one we have only done once before, back in 2017 when we first tried to move here. There is a good mix of farmland, woodland, an ornamental lake, a stream, pastoral land, a Country House (pictured) and a small cafe and garden centre, sadly closed at the moment. That is all packed in to only just over three miles, and starts and ends at a little farm shopping area where there is a couple of cafes and a rather good deli. We managed to buy a couple of things in the deli but it is a shame that the other cafes aren’t open at the moment. Hopefully soon!
Looking at the pictures I took on the last blip nearly four years ago is a bit of an eye-opener; much better shots than I am doing at the moment. I blame the lockdowns, but must try harder.
