Bleak and Beautiful - with birds

I felt a bit beaten up today after yesterday’s slip on the mud, but clearly it’s not all bad as I walked nearly 15K steps walking round Grimwith Reservoir. Wild, windy, and wonderful with plenty of bird interest.
Afterwards we walked up to Cold Stone Cut, a large art installation overlooking the only working quarry in Nidderdale - blowing an absolute Gale - no camera came out there!
Lovely Mother’s Day flowers and nice roast dinner made for me this evening
