Wigeons

More ducks. Back at the Peedie Sea, doing a WeBS count. Through the winter, in normal times, wetland birds are counted at sites all over the UK. This, as in all surveying, has been badly hit by covid restrictions. The wigeon did not care for the choppiness of the water in the high wind, you can see it slopping about, so were taking it easy on land. They numbered 38, with 21 long-tailed duck, 9 goldeneye, 2 red-breasted merganser etc.
