Nurse Diana calls the shots

V1 day for me and I am feeling quite emotional. Not just because it represents being able to see my friends and family again.

My dad wrote and important phD thesis in the 1950's which led eventually to the production of this Astra Zeneca vaccine.

He was also a Managing Director at AZ's site in Wilmslow before he retired. He and his colleague Eric designed and built laboratories for research and development.

Extra of dinner in memory of my lovely dad.

The whole experience was very joyful this afternoon. The 'Vaccine concierges' were great fun and it was all very efficient and quick.
