In a Dark Corner

I've had a bit of a lazy day today. Sunday paper in bed and then Marian did my hair. It hasn't been done for a while so there was plenty to shake out for the birds to nest with. Phoebe, Paul and the family came over. We stood outside and chatted until the rain started.They brought a Mother's Day greeting for Marian and also a tin full of cream tea and strawberries. Double yum!

Although there have been some sunny spells, it's been chilly out there and instead of going out we settled down for a film. We watched 'The Wild Rose' which is an entertaining 'star is born' tale of a Glasgow singer with a dream of getting to the Grand Ole Opry. All good stuff for a chilly Sunday.
