Hyacinths

With variable weather around, including a heavy hail storm, I didn't wander far today ... just to the end of the garden and back!  I found a pot of hyacinths which I had purchased as a house plant last year, but never got round to replanting the bulbs. It oviously hadn't bothered them as they were flowering and giving off a wonderful scent.

I took a few outdoor shots (extra), but it was a bit breezy, so brought them inside to try out the in-camera focus stacking feature.  This is a stack of 8 (the maximum my camera will stack automatically) and pretty well straight out of camera ... not bad!  It also provides the raw files so I could try merging them manually if I want or could be bothered!
