Flowers not flowing water

Just a short walk from home in the village. The monument was originally a drinking fountain and was opened on the coronation of King George V on June 22 1911. At some stage in the mid 20th century it ceased to be used as a drinking fountain and became in a bad state of repair. In 2017 the parish council undertook a major overhaul and used the bowls as planters. One kind couple in the village plant and maintain the flowers.
