Rust dye sample and wild Pineapples!
Very pleased with my first experimentation with rust dyeing, I began a couple of other pieces. Loving the possibilities.
Cooling weather, thank goodness, is opening up more walkies hours. This morning took in the rough bush block where I found the rusting cans I used today. Found some gorgeous dried round leaves I will use for something.
But most surprising I found a couple of wild pineapple plants! Somebody must have thown a or a couple of pineapple tops and the sub tropical climate took care of the rest. I picked the ripe one. It added zing to the fruit salad I made for lunch.
What a lovely gift! Thank You.
