under the bridge

What a gorgeous day it turned out to be! The weather had said that Monday was going to be the sunny day but looks like it came earlier as tomorrow shows chance of rain. Went to shoot this shot after work hoping the golden evening sun was casting lovely light but we were a bit early I'm afraid.


I was standing looking out my kitchen window into our back garden and there I saw a little hummingbird flitting from flower to flower. I yelled to Glenn to bring me my camera as I didn't want to lose sight of it. I opened the door onto the deck and it flew up to my feeder right in front of me!! Oh, it made me smile :o) It was a baby and it was beautiful!! Hovered there for a few seconds then flew a bit then hovered. I didn't get my camera in time but oh just the sight made my day!! I don't get them like I used to at the duplex we were renting so it's a special treat now when I do see them
