Endings...

This beautiful amaryllis has moved so fast thro it's decline i can hardly stand it! Just a few days ago it was such a luscious display of pink and curves and light! Now, there are 2 flowers and they are fading fast. So, this morning, whilst Lynne and i had our last morning coffee together, i took a few more images inside it!

And the other ending is of course the lovely time spent together with Lynne! It has been a wonderful 5-6 days together....lollygaggin, photographing, painting, talking....eating, drinking mojitos and wine....and always much laughter! i miss her already! But i know she will soon be snuggled up by her wonderful love, Ivor, and she'll be happy! It won't be too long till we see each other again! Time is fleeting and those moments between togetherness seem shorter!

I got home after dropping Lynne off at the airport, to find we had lost power. There had been an accident not far from here, causing a fire and therefore hydro outage for about 2 hours! Terry and i spent it learning spanish! Once it came back on, around 8.30pm we managed to get supper together and now all is well at Big Hill!
