2021 Friday — Lunch with Friends

We met Les & Jody at Tamazulas Restaurant at 11:00 and enjoyed a couple hours of fun conversation and delicious food. We hadn’t seen them since last autumn.

Mr. Fun and Les went to public school kindergarten together. They’ve been friends for a long time. Then Mr. Fun attended 1st-7th grade at Catholic school. Years later Mr. Fun flunked 7th grade, so he and Les were no longer in the same grade. Mr. Fun then returned to public school to repeat 7th grade.

Jody and Mr. Fun where in the same senior class and back in that era the entire class would go to “Grad Night At Disneyland,” and the two of them missed their bus back to the high school campus. The school is 25 miles from Disneyland. So they caught a ride on a bus from the high school in the city just beyond ours. So he’s known Jody for a long time too. Les & Jody were married the year after us.

It was fun to be with friends today.
