Little Seneca Lake

I walked partway around this lake this morning while D was taking the SAT. Another beautiful day, just a bit cooler than the previous couple. We were up in Maryland - an hour’s drive across the Potomac and along a collection of rural roads. Many of the place names are German, apart from Seneca (Creek, Lake, State Park, etc.)...and D took the exam in Germantown.

Four hours to myself... I read, wrote, napped, called a friend, and visited Starbucks. Twice.
