Weekend supervisor

My sister-in-law has asked me to sew a t-shirt quilt out of her son’s Beatles shirts. It is quite a collection and should make a very interesting quilt. Today was “cut the blocks” day and it went rather well. Each block is sized in a multiple of four inches plus a seam allowance so that, in a perfect world, the blocks all fit together like a puzzle. I found very cool “Yellow Submarine “ fabric to use for the inevitable gaps. Lucky for me she is not pressuring me to step it up so I can proceed at a leasurely pace with no stress.
As you can see, I had a fascinated supervisor who was obviously making time and a half weekend pay.
