The Yard

Living in Edinburgh for 19 years, I nannied for 15 of those years, and visited Scotland Yard park with many many kids. I always wished I could see inside The Yard, a purpose built unit specialising in providing play opportunities and support for the families and kids affected by special needs, as it looked so fun. Then last year the BBC's The Big Build gave the whole place a stupendous makeover with Children in Need. I watched the TV program and always meant to go see for myself as I knew somewhere in the back of my mind that they open to everyone certain times. So we took the girls there on Saturday and they LOVED it!! So I will be going back regularly I'd say! Fantastic! Here's the Link to The Yard if you'd like to have a look!
