Project 365 day 72: playing with a new toy

My daughter's new light pad arrived yesterday, replacing one she had borrowed on long loan and used for stop motion animation. I helped her unpack and check it, and looked for a quick project: the first petal from the vase of tulips was starting to fall, so it was sacrificed to experimentation. It's the first time I have tried something like this on a light pad, and I struggled with lighting, which is often my problem with indoor photography, but it was fun and the results were good enough for me to want to try more. It will also be a further temptation to spend a wickedly large sum of money on what is generally considered to be a very reasonably priced macro lens.
