Saturday: Another Book

We were both up early this morning, MrD went off to Lidl and I made a big pan of veggies and red lentil soup, adding some baby kale leaves from the garden.
We had a very large pheasant visit the garden - much bigger than either of the Philips! Was so engrossed watching him walk along the top of the picket fence that I didn’t think to take a photo ... 
plan B was to go to the top of our road and take a photo of the sunset ... BUT ... IT WENT VERY DARK & cloudy and started raining  ... ah, well ...
