Tasty broccoli

L3 Day 83 A trip to the allotment and a dog walk locally, before the hailstorm! Interesting to see that there are several new sheds at the allotments. One has been very well made from scratch out of recycled wood, lots of it from pallets. ( See extra) Some plots are looking very neat and tidy ready for planting. The pumps have been put back ( there is no running water and they are taken off in the winter to avoid damage from freezing water). We have a few leeks remaining and lots of purple sprouting broccoli ready to pick. Interesting to see that the plants from seed planted directly in the ground have done better than those germinated and grown in root trainers at home. The blip of the broccoli was taken with the ‘portrait’ mode on my iPhone 12, accidentally, and looks better than a regular photo...I will explore this feature more .
