Camouflaged prehistoric standing stone
Today we walked around the village to admire the spring gardens. We went into the churchyard looking for a blip and I took this photograph. When I got home I searched the internet for information about the church and was amazed to find this "In Strathblane Parish graveyard, just by the entrance gate, is a small prehistoric standing stone just over 1 metre (3.7 feet) tall. Easily missed amongst all the stone tombstones." They are quite right, I'd taken this picture of it without realising it. Rather better pictures on this website:
