One very naughty dog ....
Indie and I love exploring the heath & around, but at this time of year it's very muddy with lots of puddles so we are always dirty when we return to Mum's. Indie came to live with Mum when she was 10months old, a companion after Dad had passed away. She's a Border collie x Springer spaniel, possibly not the best breed for an 80 year to take on.They've been together 8 years now. Indie is the boss, knows Mum's every move, reads her mind, knows the daily routine inside out & is great company for Mum, but she will NOT be groomed, or wiped down, & is a nightmare when it comes to the vet visits. She just lies down, won't move. Same on the furniture. She won't move, Mum has to shift her like dead weight off the bed, IF she manages to sneak in the bedroom, or the sofa, her nighttime hangout, where she then flops on the floor. A proper character, sometimes very annoying, but at the end of the day, she is entertaining. I'm just glad she is'nt mine. Well, she would be fine but there would be ground rules, ground being the operative word.
Had our Saturday afternoon flutter on the gee gees. I had 3 winners, Mum had 3 winners, hubby zilch. :-(( Never mind John, better luck on the lottery. :-))
