Deadly dye

I suspect a lot of you will have experienced the effectiveness of the yellow dust on lilies. This is a single bloom left of a bunch I purchased around Valentines Day. I think the flowers look so much better with the stamens in but I have learnt that it's not a good idea to leave them.

A quiet day today. I made a start on sorting things in the study but soon got bored!

I was sad to hear through blipper A Cycling Granny in Wanaka that blipper Snowy had died. She made us so welcome when we visited a few years ago. Her blips of her garden were spectacular. RIP Snowy
