Sunny and Warm

Even though, it was me who suggested an outing on such a nice day, once we got going, all I wanted to do was turn around and go back; didn't want to give up so much of the day to driving. Eric suggested Timberline Lodge, I think he misses skiing, so off we went. This pic is from the last stretch driving up Mt Hood before reaching the lodge. Everything was so stark and bright, made your eyes feel good. I cheered up, especially when we topped off the day with a walk around the Wildwood Recreation Site, the BLM wetlands area half way down the mountain that has raised walkways, lovely moss-covered trees (see Extra) and many birds.
