Made scones

Lazy most of the day. Late afternoon I went for a walk in the park, saw some birds but only a fleeting glimpse of a kingfisher.

Came back home and made scones with Nick. He got a phone call in the middle of it leaving me with my hands covered in very sticky dough. What went into the oven did not look good at all but they came out surprisingly ok. They taste good, which is the important thing. I've made them before but I'm not generally big on baking, I find it kind of stressful rather than fun.
