Meet the Birds

We had perfect weather conditions for today's bird ringing demonstration, although it was a little cold (-1°C) when the Merseyside Ringing Group arrived at 6am!. A total of 21 birds were caught, seven of them re-traps from earlier this winter, plus a Wren ringed in October 2011 and Blue Tits from October 2009 and October 2010. Thank you to everybody that came along, we hope you enjoy the demonstration. Also thank you to Prof David Norman, Michael, Jake, Anna, Leah, Nick and Kate from Merseyside Ringing Group for a fantastic and informative morning. :)
