Last Ray of Sun
Sometimes the way the light sets against the trees at the edge of the field makes them just glow. I went out to take a photo but ended up with this instead. Standing in this last ray of light my shadow stretched a good fifty feet or more across the grass like some huge skinny giant.
Walking back to the house I heard a movement in the brush and saw this snowshoe hare sneaking away. I circled around and there she was, hiding. I took this with my phone, so I got fairly close. You can see she's starting to change - so I'll try to get another photo when she's all brown.
One thing I like about both these photos is that I took them while in my pajamas.
