Getting settled in

The swans in the park are making preparations for  Spring and look to have settled on their nesting site for this year. This was the male (I think!) at lunchtime and later this afternoon we saw the pair busy collecting fresh nesting materials.
There was also a cormorant at the pond today - I don’t think I’ve seen one in Inverleith Park before. My extra photo shows him in characteristic pose holding his wings out to dry.
