Covid compromise...

Mother's Day on Sunday - dad hates cooked cheese so normally I take mum somewhere for macaroni cheese.  Bit of a ritual but obviously not this year (or last).

Dad's birthday is next Thursday - normally that would be a garden centre trip with coffee and cake. Bit of a ritual but obviously not this year (or last).

Morrisons are selling boxes of afternoon tea (full works - sandwiches, pork pies, cheese cake, real cakes and scones with jam and cream). So that's how they will spend tomorrow with a cup of tea.
