Pieris

A day of wind and rain but as the weather forecast in the morning was a little drier I visited the local gardens with a friend.  We wandered around the Camellias which are still putting on a good display and then through the rest of the gardens.  Not much going on in the bird hide as there were around 6 squirrels eating the seed.  We managed to shelter when there was a short spell of rain and then returned to the entrance.  Nearby was this rather lovely Pieris flower.

My husband returned from a cycle ride with friend, he was very lucky with the weather as it started to rain heavily shortly after just as the food delivery also arrived.
