Focus

Up early and off to Birmingham NEC for Focus on Imaging. Great to be able to go ... missed last year! The only thing I'm tempted to buy is a Fuji X-E1 ... so nice with its 35mm 1.4 lens and would be perfect to take skiing especially since Nikon still have my D600. Not that I have the money.

Caitlin from Fuji is there ... she took us for a class at Wilderness Festival last year, but is leaving Fuji this week. Also have a good chat to Ray from Sigma who's offered to lend me some of his Nikon fit lenses if I need them.

Alasdair drives up to meet us which is nice and Louise from my photography class also joins us. I've not seen her since last summer and we keep meaning to go out shooting together so will hopefully manage to when I get back from skiiing.

Roast chicken and mashed potato when we get home ... exhausted! Will have dinner in Paris tomorrow and no internet (or camera!) so probably won't be on Blip until the end of the week.
