Ladybird
sitting on a cucumber leaf which has been battered by yesterday's hail storm.
We spent the day cleaning up the garden, cutting back broken branches and sweeping up shredded leaves. Fortunately it has been a very warm sunny day so we have been able to get everything dried out. The hail has stripped the green leafy part of the silver beet leaving just the stalk and the begonias and Impatiens are just a slimy mess. I'm pleased this happened at the end of summer and not at the height of the growing season.
