One Year, Almost Feels Like Normal

We walked about a mile into downtown to get lunch today and found it to be pretty crowded thanks to the good weather.  This was remarkable to me because I remember this week last year, the last week I commuted before working from home, and the good weather didn't make any difference as people stayed mostly locked in their homes back then.  Despite the vaccine rollout, the number of cases now is higher than it was a year ago, but you wouldn't know it walking around here.  It almost feels like normal...
