Square One

The first square knitted for Debbie Abraham’s mystery blanket project.    The yarn and the first 3 square patterns arrived Feb 1 but I couldn’t knit decently til toward the end of Feb (and grateful for that as is the PT!)  So Mar 1 along comes 4 more patterns.   April there will be  5.   Lots of new things for me, including beads!  I'm afraid I read Debbie’s Blog  AFTER I made square one , where she admits it is  “quite fiddly” (duh)  and perhaps we might want to start with #2 or #3.   She explains everything with little videos..this one is now getting blocked after weaving in some the yarn ends.  And I’ve started #2.( a bit easier)    Not sure I’ll live long enough at this rate….there are 49!  But the colors are irresistible and of course I want to know the theme,   and the name of the blanket!

Just watched our president predict how everyone can be vaccinated sooner rather than later....and a new federal site to help schedule.....MAYBE we'll all be having backyard barbecues on July 4.......It's so nice to have someone that actually can make things happen for others.  For a change.
