Tangled trees

Went for a walk with a friend to a new place (to me) this morning - a designated wildlife area called Willsbridge east of Bristol. Bright sun and heavy rain alternately. The extra shows sunshine and a very dark sky. At one stage we were walking along the Dramway: the route of a 19th century tramway which took the  coal 9 miles from Coalpit Heath down to the river Avon to be transported to the cities of Bath and Bristol.  No sign of any industry in the area these days - just retail parks with Aldi and B&Q.
