Tombstone, Arizona

We had an easy drive to our next stop, Las Cruces, New Mexico, so decided to take a detour to see Tombstone. This was the town that the "Shootout at the OK Corral" occurred. We arrived just as the town was waking up to all the tourist things to do. 

We arrived in Las Cruces in time to get some laundry done. I talked to a woman that was doing her laundry too. They had sold their home in Portland and were on their way to Arizona to check out places to move. Her husband is a fire fighter and wanted to get away from the upheaval that has been happening in Portland for far too long.

I am grateful to meet new people and hear their stories.
