Pete Bland RIP

I stopped to take a photo of Pete Bland's shop because I spotted the date 1563 at the top and wondered about all the businesses that have traded from this building over the last 500 years.  Pete Bland has been selling running gear in Kendal since 1974. He was a top ranked fell and cross country runner  and organiser of a many local races.  He sadly caught Covid 19 in November 2020 and died from the virus quite quickly aged 79. His family continue to run the business .
