Wild weather.

Fluffy clouds, blue sky and sunshine, but don’t be fooled. We have also had strong winds, rain, hail, and lightning.
In the middle of it all the gardeners were cutting down four leylandii which had grown too high for our small garden.

It has already made a difference, and the kitchen seems lighter.
Part of the space will be a wood store.
I would like to plant a rose and clematis in the other part, but Mr C has reminded me that our neighbour doesn’t like plants growing uphill fence. I will have to ask him nicely!

The wind seems to have dropped now. Hope tomorrow will be a better day for us all.
