Laid to Rest

On the edge of Hooe Lake in Plymouth you can see the hulks of several old boats. Since they were laid to rest they have been slowly left to deteriorate. This shot taken today shows the bow of one of them. I actually felt a bit humbled standing in the mud looking up at them and thinking of how they once proudly rode the waves on the open seas.
