Spring Fire

Wow, but it was windy last night! Today, many of those unfortunates for whom today is recycling day were gathering up all their paper and plastic from the pavements, which was scattered over eight in the gales.

Down the lane that leads to the light industrial estate, a tree had gone over and was suspended over the road by overhead cables (extra). The police had closed the road, and were parked right under a stressed telegraph pole which was taking the strain of the tree on a dubiously capable cleat. I mentioned to them they might want to shift their car... ;-)

I've seen a few Pep Ventosa style shots on here, and while this is certainly not one it's quite attractive in its own fashion. As an abstract of peak daffodil, though, the only "mystery" is how many are there?!
