Exotic fruit 3

Our local fruit shop had a box full of these horn melons and l just had to buy one and try it out. For such an exotic looking fruit it failed my taste test; sadly it had a taste a bit like a cucumber rather than something to set my taste buds tingling.

Truly awful weather yesterday, some rain but mostly just wind. As l write this tucked up in bed l can still hear the wind howling and buffeting the building. I spent a certain amount of time yesterday afternoon arranging a holiday in September on the north Norfolk coast, a flat land of rivers, reeds, sandy beaches and bird reserves, what is not to like?
