Meltwater
Warmer days continue to breakdown the ice and snow cover, leaving pools of standing water to collect on the lake ice. Reeds catching the afternoon sun glow a yellow-orange in contrast to the pale blue of the water.
It's time to take bets on when we'll see open water marking the end to a long winter.
I had trouble deciding whether there was too much empty space in the lower left or should the reeds be more tightly cropped?
